Builds that actually feel good to map with
Some builds just make the whole game feel smoother. Lightning Arrow Deadeye is still one of the easiest examples. You fire once, Mirage Archer keeps pressure on, and you're already into the next pack. Tornado Shot Deadeye pushes that even further if you've got the budget, and that's usually where people end up once they want better scaling. If you'd rather not aim much at all, Righteous Fire Juggernaut is still hard to beat. You run, things burn, and the build doesn't ask for much attention. Then there's Essence Drain plus Contagion on Trickster, which still has that old-school chain reaction feel. Hit the combo right and the whole screen folds. It's not just about damage, either. These builds keep your hands relaxed, and over a long grind that matters more than people admit.
Map habits that save more time than gear
A lot of farming problems come from bad routine, not bad damage. First, tighten your loot filter. If junk is still showing up, you're losing seconds every map, and those seconds add up fast. Second, favour layouts that don't force backtracking. Dunes, Strand, and other open maps feel good for a reason. You move forward, kill what's in front of you, and you're done. Third, don't over-roll maps early. Alch them and go unless a mod bricks your build. Too many players waste ten minutes trying to create the perfect map and then wonder why their returns feel slow. Volume wins. It usually does.
League mechanics worth your time
If a mechanic throws monsters at you instantly, it's usually worth considering. Legion is great for that. Breach too. You click, mobs appear, loot drops, and the pace stays high. That's what you want. Mechanics with long pauses, long boss phases, or awkward stop-start flow can drag your average profit down even if the rewards look decent on paper. The same goes for movement setup. Get proper movement speed on boots, keep your Quicksilver flask active, and don't ignore how much smoother your maps feel when your character simply moves faster. A lot of people chase tiny damage upgrades first, but speed often pays more.
